Chairman Elizabeth M. Hewlett has been honored by the Prince George's County Young Democrats (PGYD) with their 2015 Wayne K. Curry Distinguished Service Award. Chairman Hewlett received the award during the organization's 9th Annual Kennedy-King Awards Dinner held at the IBEW Local Union 26 in Lanham, Maryland.
M-NCPPC Commissioner A. Shuanise Washington Named a 2014 Washington SmartCEO Brava! Honoree
Commissioner A. Shuanise Washington of the Prince George’s County Planning Board of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission was recently named a 2014 Washington SmartCEO Brava! honoree. Commissioner Washington received this honor for her service and making significant contributions to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc., an organization in which she currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer.
