The Approved Central Annapolis Road Sector Plan and Sectional Map Amendment is now available on-line.
Project Summary: On November 15, 2016, the District Council approved Council Resolution (CR)-95-2016) initiating a minor amendment to the Annapolis Road Development District standards. This amendment proposes a commercial Table of Uses Permitted for land within “Character Area D: Retail Town Center” in order to promote development of a diverse mix of neighborhood-oriented uses and large-scale national retailers.
The commercial Table of Uses Permitted applies only to land within Character Area D: Retail Town Center. The Table of Uses Permitted for land outside of this character area will not be impacted by this Minor Amendment.
Joint Public Hearing: A joint public hearing to receive public testimony on the amendment has been scheduled for February 7, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. The hearing will be located in the Council Hearing Room on the first floor of the County Administration Building located at 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772.
