Project Area

The project area extends to the Patuxent River to the east, the Patuxent National Wildlife Research Refuge to the North, the Pepco power line to the west, and the northern border of the City of Bowie. The project area covers approximately 2,282 acres and includes 219 acres of county-owned surplus property.
