      Notes from public meetings



      The goals of this project are:

      • to develop a mixed-use zone to implement the policy recommendations of the 2002 General Plan for select centers and corridor nodes,
      • to streamline and standardize regulations and processes, and incentive development in and around the county’s most important transit resources, and
      • to offer an alternative to the existing mixed-use zones, design-oriented overlay zoning tools, and comprehensive design zones currently legislated in the county’s Zoning Ordinance.
