Kick-off Meeting and Listening Session

Over 120 stakeholders attended our kick-off meeting and listening session! Residents, property and business owners, and community leaders provided valuable insights into the planning area and discussed aspects of the Central Annapolis Road corridor that should be preserved and those that should be improved or changed.  Please see our summary of community comments for more details.                                    

The second step in our planning process was our Weekend of Workshops and Community Briefings.  Your participation was instrumental at the following events:

Joint Public Hearing

A draft of the preliminary plan was made available for public review beginning March 25, 2010.  Stakeholders were invited to provide oral and written testimony on the Preliminary Central Annapolis Road Sector Plan and Sectional Map Amendment at the first Joint Public Hearing with the Prince George's County District Council and Planning Board On May 4, 2010. Written testimony was accepted through the close of the public record on May 19, 2010.
