About Us

The Community Planning Division of M-NCPPC is responsible for creating master plans to guide future physical land use development and revitalization. Planners in this division work with residents and community stakeholders to identify priorities for communities, create long-range plans, and foster implementation strategies. 

Currently, the Community Planning North Division of M-NCPPC is working with residents from the Glenn Dale, Seabrook, and Lanham area to revise the existing master plan for an area approximately 10.9 square miles (7,000 acres) of land.  This effort is undertaken to provide planning guidance both now and in the long-term for these communities that will be responsible for future development and land use decisions.
