This meeting focused on Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) at and around the Metro stations along the Metro Blue Line corridor. We are looking forward to your continued participation in the project.
Community Meeting on Pedestrian Safety and Access
During this meeting Toole Design Group presented its findings about pedestrian safety and station accessibility issues along the Central Avenue corridor between the Capitol Heights and the Addison Road-Seat Pleasant Metro stations. Community members participated in a Q&A session to discuss proposed recommendations. A final report will be available in May 2011.
The first of a series of community forums to advance the implementation of the Subregion 4 Master Plan. This implementation program will address transit-oriented development, neighborhood conservation, Metro station access, and pedestrian safety. The initial focus of the program will be the Capitol Heights and Addison Road-Seat Pleasant Metro Stations and the surrounding communities. Click here to see the powerpoint presentation.
