Takoma/Langley Crossroads Sector Plan Community Update Meeting
On September 21, 2010, M-NCPPC staff provided the community with an update on the implementation of the Takoma/Langley Crossroads Sector Plan. The meeting provided residents and stakeholders with the opportunity to share their ideas and comments on important plan implementation strategies that will be completed or initiated in the upcoming months.
Takoma/Langley Crossroads Sector Plan Planning Board Work Session
On September 10, 2009, planners presented the Digest of Testimony from the Takoma/Langley Crossroads Joint Public Hearing to the Planning Board. During this work session, the Planning Board and Community Planning staff reviewed and analyzed the major topics addressed in verbal and written comments submitted by the community in response to recommendations outlined in the Takoma/Langley Crossroads Preliminary Sector Plan.
Takoma/Langley Crossroads Sector Plan Joint Public Hearing
On June 23, 2009, planners presented the Takoma/Langley Crossroads Preliminary Sector Plan to the Planning Board and District Council. The preliminary sector plan contains recommendations for land use, environment, transportation systems, public facilities, parks and recreation, historic preservation, and urban design. The community participated in the public hearing by presenting their views concerning the recommendations detailed in the preliminary sector plan to the Planning Board and District Council.
Takoma/Langley Crossroads Sector Plan Final Concept Meeting
 On November 6, 2008, planners presented the revised final design concept based on discussions and feedback received over the past eight months of public outreach meetings,
work sessions, and meetings with landowners. The team solicited final feedback from the community on the design concept in preparation for drafting the plan.
Takoma/Langley Crossroads Sector Plan Revised Design Concept Meeting
 On July 17 and 19, 2008, planners presented the revised design concept based on discussions and feedback received from the June 12th and 14th outreach meetings, work sessions, and meetings with landowners. The team solicited final feedback from the community on the design concept.
The Takoma/Langley Crossroads Sector Plan Worksessions
From June 24th to June 26th, 2008, the Takoma Langley Crossroads Team engaged in a series of worksessions with invited agencies and community organizations. The worksessions were designed to build on the earlier concepts and develop a more refined design concept for the area.
Development Ideas Feedback Meetings
 On June 12th and 14th, 2008, planners discussed the feedback they received from the numerous outreach meetings conducted in the Takoma/Langley Crossroads area and presented three development ideas for the area. The team also solicited feedback from the community on these design ideas.
