Publications and ReportsThe Takoma/Langley Crossroads is a unique community in the metropolitan Washington region. Its history and multiethnic identity has attracted a broad range of attention from local and regional entities, such as the State of Maryland, the University of Maryland, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and national think tanks, such as the Brookings Institution. The broad range of publications and reports focusing on the Takoma/Langley Crossroads have focused on the unique community assets and social problems, particularly as they relate to youth, immigration, jobs, pedestrian safety, transit, low-income social services, and community economic development.
