Since 2007, Mr. Harrison has served as Director of Public Affairs at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. There, he leads the government affairs and community relations efforts in building good corporate citizenship. Previously, Monroe spent nearly 14 years working at Hughes Supply, where he worked in many facets of the company. Since moving to the Washington, DC area, Mr. Harrison has become an active supporter of tourism and serves on the Prince George's Community College Executive Advisory Board for Hospitality and Tourism and is an executive member of the Board of Directors for the Maryland Tourism Council.
