Saturday, May 20, 2023 - All Day Indoor Pool closure

SUMMER HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Indoor Pools

Memorial Day (May 29)- close at 4 pm
Juneteenth (June 19)- close at 4 pm
Independence Day (July 4)- close at 4 pm
Labor Day (September 4)- close at 4 pm

Outdoor Pools

Memorial Day (May 29)- normal hours (12 noon-8 pm)
Juneteenth (June 19)- close at 4 pm (one session 12 noon-4 pm)
Independence Day (July 4)- close at 4 pm (one session 12 noon-4 pm)
Labor Day (September 4)- normal hours (12 noon-8 pm)

STATEMENT

The Southern Regional Aquatic Wellness Center was recently closed to render repairs for pool surface cracks within the warm water pool. During a previous closure, the facility designer and builder were brought onsite to inspect the issues of concern and indicated that additional repairs would be necessary even after the surface cracks.

The substantial repairs for both the lap pool and warm water pool, to address the underlying issues that have caused the surface cracks, will still need to be addressed at a later date.

Employment

We are currently hiring. Applicants must be 16 years of age to work for M-NCPPC. All you need to get started is a great work attitude and a completed Aquatics Employment Application. Search online for the positions for which you are qualified. Please note that not all positions are advertised year-round.
