The Prince George’s County Planning Department is responsible for preserving, protecting, and managing the County’s resources by providing high-quality planning services and growth management guidance. The process includes effective intergovernmental and citizen involvement through education and technical assistance. The Planning Department operates through the resources and activities of five divisions, which operate under the leadership of the planning director.
