Hispanic Heritage Month starts on September 15, 2024. Each year, the M-NCPPC celebrates our Hispanic community with a festival and events, many hosted by the Department of Parks and Recreation. More than 18% of the County’s population has roots in Mexico, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Colombia, or one of many other Spanish-speaking countries.
