Brown Bag Lunch Series—More Urban Street Design Standards
Monday, May 11, 2026
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
The Prince George’s County Planning Department will host a monthly Brown Bag Series virtually via Microsoft Teams, covering various planning topics. The session on Monday, May 11, 2026, will cover more Urban Street Design Standards.
Following strong interest in our initial session, we’re continuing the conversation with a dynamic second Brown Bag focused on the Urban Street Design Standards—this time featuring a panel of representatives from Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE), Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) and the Planning Department, who are involved in shaping and implementing these guidelines across Prince George’s County.
Join us for a deeper dive into how interagency collaboration is advancing the vision set forth in Plan 2035 and County legislation. Panelists will share real-world perspectives on applying the standards within publicly funded projects and beyond, highlighting how coordinated efforts are creating safer, more accessible, and better-connected multimodal networks.
Please register at least a week in advance.
