The Prince George’s County Council, sitting as the District Council, and the Prince George’s County Planning Board of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission will hold an in-person Joint Public Hearing to receive public testimony on the Weinstein House/Harry’s Market (Documented Property 68-074-05). The joint public hearing on the proposed Prince George’s County Historic Site designation will take place at the Wayne K. Curry Administration Building, 1st Floor Council Hearing Room, 1301 McCormick Drive, Largo, MD 20774. The meeting may be viewed via live streaming video at https://pgccouncil.us/LIVE. Planning Board Meeting

The Prince George’s County Planning Board meets on Thursdays to consider planning, zoning, subdivision, and other matters within its jurisdiction. The meetings may be viewed in person at the M-NCPPC, Parks and Recreation Administration Building in Riverdale and via live streaming video. Public participation is encouraged. Everyone who wishes to speak virtually or in person at the Planning Board meeting must register online by noon on the Tuesday, two days prior to the Planning Board meeting. Written comments, documents, and exhibits must be received via email, hand delivery, or mail by noon on the Tuesday before the Planning Board meeting to be included in the record. Bike to Work Day

The M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department will join organizations across the Washington Metropolitan area in observing Bike to Work Day. The annual initiative promotes cycling as quiet, clean, and a viable transportation mode as well as encourages bicycling as a fun and healthy commuter option. The M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Board will attend a site visit of the College Park Airport in advance of a future scheduled Public Meeting (Date TBD) on the proposed expansion of the Junior Tennis Champions Center. The site visit is free and open to any members of the public to attend. Parking is available on-site. The purpose of the site visit is educational. No business will be conducted during the visit.
