We’re bringing an exciting new virtual learning series designed to explore plans, projects, issues, and trends that are shaping Prince George’s County. These interactive discussions give residents the opportunity to learn from our staff experts, ask questions, and stay informed about our planning initiatives and emerging topics that impact our communities.
The sessions will be held on the second Tuesday of every month, from 12 to 1 p.m. in a virtual setting via Microsoft Teams. Registration is required for each session. After registering for your preferred session, you will receive a confirmation email with the meeting link.

Common Park Facilities Design Guidelines: Design Standards and User Experiences

A concise overview of Prince Georgeโs Countyโs design expectations for developer-built recreation facilities. This presentation highlights how facility standards promote safety, accessibility, durability, and long-term maintenance across the park system, and demonstrates how the guidelines are applied throughout the planning, development review, and implementation processes. The session will conclude with a panel discussion exploring real-world user experiences and lessons learned.

Learn how transit-oriented development can support economic growth, expand housing and transportation choices, and create vibrant, walkable communities that are connected to jobs, services, and regional destinations.
