Everyone who wishes to speak at the Planning Board meeting must register online by Noon on the Tuesday, two days prior to the Planning Board meeting. Written comments, documents, and exhibits must be received via email, fax, or mail by Noon on the Tuesday before the Planning Board meeting to be included in the record. Residents and stakeholders are invited to review the recommendations and provide input on redevelopment opportunities, streetscape and transportation improvements, open spaces, and economic prosperity initiatives. With the recent passage of the updated Woodland and Wildlife Habitat Conservation Ordinance (CB-20-2024) and Subdivision Regulations concerning Environmental Strategy Areas (CB-022-2024) by the Prince George’s County Council, the Prince George’s County Planning Department will host a virtual public information session on December 12, 2024 to inform residents and community stakeholders of changes to the Environmental Technical Manual. An overview of revisions to many definitions, processes, conservation requirements, and items related to environmental impacts with development in the County. Participants will learn how to prepare environmentally related plans and documents for submission according to County Code. Click here to register.

The Winter Market at University Town Center will feature music, vendors, and art activities. Through placemaking, residents and stakeholders can reimagine Independence Plaza and experience the potential opportunities in the heart of the town center.
