The M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department and the Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County will host two epic Summer Soccer Kickoff watch parties. The free watch parties will include soccer programming for children, food vendors, and other fun activities. In addition, youth ages 6-14 may register in advance for mini tournaments. The Largo Yard Party is back on July 24–25, 2026!

Come experience the art of placemaking and help reimagine the future of Grand Boulevard at the Largo Yard Party, July 24-25, 2026. The Prince George’s County Planning Department will host a special two-day event activating 9401 Grand Boulevard, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774, the vacant land next to the Largo Metro Station, with the goal of developing the site into a place benefiting County residents and small businesses.

• Friday, July 24—Adults’ Night Out
• Saturday, July 25—Family Day and Farmer’s Market

Attendees of both days will be invited to share their ideas for the future of the site in the County. This event is free and open to the public.
