The M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department will join the City of Seat Pleasant for a ribbon cutting ceremony for The E3 Learning Lab – a summer pop-up library experience. A placemaking shipping container will provide summer multigenerational programming and literary access to residents.

The meetings may be viewed in person at the M-NCPPC, Parks and Recreation Administration Building in Riverdale and via live streaming video. Public participation is encouraged. Everyone who wishes to speak virtually or in person at the Planning Board meeting must register online by noon on the Tuesday, two days prior to the Planning Board meeting. Written comments, documents, and exhibits must be received via email, hand delivery, or mail by noon on the Tuesday before the Planning Board meeting to be included in the record. The M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department and the Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County will host two epic Summer Soccer Kickoff watch parties. The free watch parties will include soccer programming for children, food vendors, and other fun activities. In addition, youth ages 6-14 may register in advance for mini tournaments. The Largo Yard Party is back on July 24–25, 2026!

Come experience the art of placemaking and help reimagine the future of Grand Boulevard at the Largo Yard Party, July 24-25, 2026. The Prince George’s County Planning Department will host a special two-day event activating 9401 Grand Boulevard, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774, the vacant land next to the Largo Metro Station, with the goal of developing the site into a place benefiting County residents and small businesses.

• Friday, July 24—Adults’ Night Out
• Saturday, July 25—Family Day and Farmer’s Market

Attendees of both days will be invited to share their ideas for the future of the site in the County. This event is free and open to the public.
