M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Board and Department Announce September 2026 Events and Meetings
LARGO, Md. – The Prince George’s County Planning Board and the Prince George’s County Planning Department of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) announce their upcoming public events and meetings for September 2026. Prince George’s County Planning Board Meetings

The Prince George’s County Planning Board meets on Thursdays to consider planning, zoning, subdivision, and other matters within its jurisdiction. The meetings may be viewed in person at the M-NCPPC, Parks and Recreation Administration Building in Riverdale and via live streaming video. Public participation is encouraged. Everyone who wishes to speak virtually or in person at the Planning Board meeting must register online by noon on the Tuesday, two days prior to the Planning Board meeting. Written comments, documents, and exhibits must be received via email, hand delivery, or mail by noon on the Tuesday before the Planning Board meeting to be included in the record. Subdivision and Development Review Committee Meeting

Subdivision and Development Review Committee (SDRC) is a coordination and interagency meeting early in the development review process with the applicant and M-NCPPC staff, where the public can be invited to virtually view the meeting only. The meetings are held virtually and may be viewed via live streaming video. The agendas are posted online.
Beltsville Community Vision Walk

The M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department, in partnership with the District 1 County Council Office, will host an in-person community vision walk to discuss a short-term pilot project along Rhode Island and discuss opportunities for long-term placemaking and infrastructure improvements in Beltsville. As part of its Placemaking Around Town Program, the M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department will join the Largo Town Center Association and community partners for the Downtown Largo Festival on Saturday, September 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The free festival will feature engaging live entertainment, family fun, farmers market, gardening demonstrations, interactive activities, local vendors, and more. As part of its Placemaking Around Town Program, the M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department will join the Largo Town Center Association and community partners at the Love My Largo Farmers Market on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, August 13, from 4 – 8 p.m. The community-powered marketplace brings farmers with local fresh produce, artisans, and neighbors together to build a healthier, more connected community on the blue line corridor and surrounding areas. The Active Transportation Advisory Group Meeting

M-NCPPC Full Commission Meeting
